Pacific Liquor is located in North Park San Diego. We are looking for an experienced stocker to work from 9pm-2am. The days will vary. We are a family business looking for someone with experience in liquor, beer, and wine. We have over 1000 beers in stock and want to make sure you are familiar to assist customers with their search.

Maintain the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/front of store area in accordance with Company policies, receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; rotate beverages in the cooler based on expiration date; lift boxes up to 20lbs.

Our stockers can be found stocking shelves in the backroom and in the front and also helping maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the store. They also help keep up display and pricing standards. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast pace environment, then we want to hear from you.

• Assist with inventory tasks, including unloading, stocking, facing, merchandising, and rotating products, with particular attention paid to code dates.
• Maintain awareness of weekly sales and ad items to provide product knowledge to customers.
• Stock, rotate, and face products
• Ensure products are fresh and displays are full and ready for customers
• Observe temperatures of coolers and cases and report any failures to management.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and compliance regulations.
• Complete tasks efficiently to ensure products are fresh and available to customers.
• Flexible to perform other related duties as assigned
• Experience with social media- Instagram to post on our story and page
• Experience with liquor, beer, and wine
• Assist customers with their questions

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age, dependable & reliable.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have grocery retail experience.
• Have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health and wellness products.
• Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position. Shift schedules are 5 hours.
• Availability to work an overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.
• Able to lift 60 pounds above the ground, lifting heavier items is required occasionally.
• Pushing and pulling racks of merchandise is common throughout a typical day. Push and pull force typically required is 80 pounds.
• Stand on hard surfaces continuously, walk up to 3 miles, reach vertically to access upper levels, and transfer items horizontally.

We seek friendly and qualified applicants who maintain positive and outgoing attitudes, follow directions, provide effective customer service, have good interpersonal skills, meet our grooming standards and work as part of team. Must be at least 18 years old.

Hours will be 9pm-2am. No cell phones while working and must be working through entire shift.
