JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst Senior supports all divisional and corporate finance and accounting reporting, provides financial and statistical information to management, staff, and external customers by accessing the organization's financial and decision support systems and by analyzing and verifying the inputs and outputs from those systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Acts as a liaison between the Clinic/Service line, Accounting, and Finance departments by accessing the organization's financial and decision support systems (General Ledger, and Budgeting System) to prepare moderatetocomplex financial analyses, and other reports to be used by operations and corporate leadership in decision-making. Ongoing management of the current and future budgeting process to facilitate the budget process, working with accounting to present and implement board approved annual budget. Provides support to all phases of the annual operating budget development process, ongoing forecasts and project evaluations, expense controls and management reporting of budget results for NOAH.
• Assists external consultants and auditors by acting as expert resource and main point of contact for annual Medicare Cost report preparation and wage index analysis.
• Provides financial and analytical expertise and assistance by effectively preparing and communicating financial information as requested while ensuring consistent application of data definitions within reporting.
• Validates to leadership the financial impact of strategy, planning and business development.
• Assists with service line financial reporting, financial analysis of new/existing programs, look-back analyses, and external reporting including participation in the annual Medicare Cost report preparation, special projects and other assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field

Preferred

• Master's Degree

EXPERIENCE
Required

• 4 years in financial planning/analysis or accounting.
• Medicare Cost Report experience a plus

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE/ETC.
Preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• It is expected that all certifications, licenses, etc. are renewed by the expiration date to remain compliant.

Required Protective Equipment:

• As required by department policies and procedures

Other Skills:

• Understanding of net revenue, payor reimbursement methodologies (government and private), labor productivity, supply chain, physician contracting and various supplier services physician
• Understanding of accounting in accordance with GAAP
