The Sr. Communication Specialist role is responsible for planning, developing, and executing external and internal communication initiatives that effectively convey information to educate members, organization needs, team member preparedness, and strategic goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Personally, provides exceptional member service; uses Service Standards in every work-related interaction.
• Actively participates in meeting the goals of the department and the Credit Union.
• Provides excellent service by using a positive and professional tone to assists callers and team members accurately, thoroughly and as efficiently as possible while maintaining consistent and friendly service. Ensures that a smile can be heard on each call.
• Uses organizational tools and techniques to complete tasks on time and successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, with the ability to give unexpected status in any of the areas of responsibility.
• Assists the VP of Marketing with development of annual marketing budget and plan.
• Works at a senior level within the department, demonstrating an advanced level of leadership, skill and forward thinking in all performed tasks.
• Takes lead to develop and implement all aspects of external and internal communication initiatives; determines, documents and manages project scope, goals, timelines and milestones; delivers projects on time and within budget.
• Recommends and applies member information from the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to target audiences to achieve organizational and marketing objectives.
• Manages vendor relationships, including selection; negotiating project costs; and providing creative direction.
• Recommends programming needs related to campaign implementation and measurement and oversees their development and implementation.
• Manages agency and freelance designers to create promotional and informational pieces.
• Manages online content of website and intranet, including design and copywriting related to assigned campaigns.
• Serves on internal committees and task forces requiring communications support and expertise.

Starting pay for successful applicants is generally within the minimum to midpoint of the pay range. Our consideration for pay is designed to support career growth and development over time. Offers extended depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to individual experience, knowledge, training, education, graphic location, market demands, and internal equity.

Minimum: $71.182.22/year | Midpoint: $88,977.78/year | Maximum: $106,773.33/year

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
