Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 87,500 sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.

• Carry out independent production planning in the MES with all associated tasks (information control center)
• Provide the quantity required by internal customers on time
• Monitoring of compliance with the defined min/max stocks
• Constant analysis of the production process using MES
• Ensuring the profitability of the current production process
• Opening of production orders in the ERP systems. (e.g. SAP)
• Coordinate independent tool planning and availability with internal departments
• Independent coordination of material availability with internal interfaces (e.g. dispo, assembly)
• Planning of the set-up processes in independent coordination with the responsible departments (usually managers)
• Independent maintenance of master data in MES and SAP (maintain material master, parts list and work plan in the event of changes, e.g. shot weight)
• Ensuring data consistency in the systems (MES, SAP)
• Constant and proactive analysis of the production process using MES
• Data generation for reporting systems, create standard reports according to specifications (e.g. evaluations of degree of utilization, OEE, MDE in general)

• Very good knowledge of operative production planning / order planning / work preparation
• Good user knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
• Secure use of common ERP and IT systems (e.g. SAP)
• Very good technical understanding of production processes
• Very good knowledge of production controlling (key figures, influencing factors, methods, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of production planning (principles, scheduling and capacity planning, sequencing and fine scheduling, etc.)
