Special Projects Coordinator Needed
Job Description:
The Special Project Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, and executing projects for DeWitt Guam under the direction of the Special Projects Lead. This position will provide directions to the office installers, project management, research, and data analysis. In addition, this individual creates cost sheets based on program needs, required deliverables and data obtained. The Project Coordinator will work with the Project Lead on executing changes and/or updates to project tasks.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:

• Coordinating project schedule, resources and equipment
• Effective liaising with government contract representatives and commercial clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
• Work with Project Lead in all stages of contract process from reviewing Request for Proposals, submissions of RFPs/RFQs, procurement of equipment post award, organize labor work force and equipment, coordinate logistics with client(s).
• Meet with client during pre-planning stages; facilitate on-site work requirements; resolves on-site project requirements
• Assist Project Lead in developing and implementing assigned project components; production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; assess development; improve efficiency, workflow, and deliverables
• Provide technical expertise, assistance, information, and advice as appropriate to project administrators, project teams and team members
• Prepare, evaluate, direct and complete action plans; resolve problems; identify trends; determine system requirements; plan contingencies and closure processes; implement changes and improvements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Guam Driver’s License
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Two years experience with federal, government and/or commercial projects
• General freight handling and logistics knowledge a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
