TAG Restaurant Group is looking for a Sous Chef for their unique Guard and Grace in Downtown Denver.
Job Summary: TAG Restaurant Group is currently looking for a Sous Chef/Exectuive Sous Chef.
About TAG: Tag Restaurants are all about food, wine, hospitality, and service from around the world shared and enjoyed with friends and family. Chef/Owner Troy Guard currently operates 13 restaurants in the Denver, Fort Collins, and Houston markets. Troy and his executive team are creating a group with a culture; a group where we get to show enthusiasm for all the little dark corners out there to be explored in the world of cuisine, cocktails, wine, and service. There will be high expectations, great rewards, and quite a bit of work to do in this exploration.

Activities and Responsibilities:

- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
- Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
- Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
Minimum Requirements needed to apply for a Chef position:
- Minimum 5 years of Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef experience.
- Successful track record of planning and directing food preparation in kitchen.
- Experience in supervising other kitchen staff.
