Principal Software Engineer (OAS Developer)

Closing: Sunday, 05/23/2023

Contract duration - 12 Months (2000 hours S/T and 200 O/T per year)

Duties/Responsibilities

A Business Intelligence Oracle Developer with 10+ years of experience with OAS Enterprise Reporting toolset and Informatica. Candidate must demonstrate extensive OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) Tool Suite knowledge specifically in the front-end tools, Answers Analytics, Data Visualizer and Oracle Analytics Publisher (BI Publisher).

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide software development and maintenance support for the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). The candidate will be responsible for performing assigned projects which require working with customers to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions.

Extensive experience with reporting concepts, SQL, report generation/layout and ETL concepts. Additionally:
Advanced experience with BI Data Modeling conducive to Star Schema Enterprise reporting models.
Advanced technical knowledge with BI Administration Tool.
Advanced experience in the application and use of metadata tools, security, and user interface designs.
Proven experience with Oracle relational database management systems using SQL and PL/SQL, including writing and/or troubleshooting complex queries, procedures, etc.
Experience working with customers to gain an understanding of their business requirements and assist with translating the information into system requirements.
Requires detailed knowledge of Oracle Database, Informatica, DAC, WebLogic and OAS application components.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft modules: Human Resources, Payroll, Supply Chain Management Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Finance, General Ledger, Project Costing is a plus


Education:

Position requires a 4-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 10 years proven performance in IT assignment or a 4-year degree in non-related field with 15 years proven performance in IT assignment.

Experience/Skills:

  • Demonstrate 10+ years of experience with OAS Enterprise Reporting toolset and Informatica
  • Demonstrate extensive OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) Tool Suite knowledge specifically in the front-end tools, Answers Analytics, Data Visualizer and Oracle Analytics Publisher (BI Publisher)
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with reporting concepts, SQL, report generation/layout.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ETL concepts and utilization of Informatica
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and interact well with users and other analysts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in BI development from configuration, requirements, modeling, ETL, reporting, database, administration, and security.
  • Demonstrate advanced detailed knowledge of Oracle Database, Informatica, DAC, WebLogic and OAS application components.
  • Demonstrate advanced experience with BI Data Modeling conducive to Star Schema Enterprise reporting models.
  • Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge with BI Administration Tool
  • Demonstrate advanced experience in the application and use of metadata tools, security, and user interface designs.
  • Demonstrate advanced experience with supporting technologies SQL, PL*SQL, TOAD, etc.
  • Agreeance to submit the following statement if selected as the apparent successful offeror: A. A statement of any past (within the past twelve months), present, or currently planned financial, contractual, organizational, or other interests relating to the performance of the statement of work. For contractual interests, such statement must include the name, address, telephone number of the client or client(s), a description of the services rendered to the previous client(s), and the name of a responsible officer or employee of the Offeror who is knowledgeable about the services rendered to each client, if, in the 12 months preceding the date of the statement, services were rendered to the Government or any other client (including a foreign government or person) respecting the same subject matter of the instant solicitation, or directly relating to such subject matter. The agency and contract number under which the services were rendered must also be included, if applicable. For financial interests, the statement must include the nature and extent of the interest and any entity or entities involved in the financial relationship. For these and any other interests enough such information must be provided to allow a meaningful evaluation of the potential effect of the interest on the performance of the statement of work AND B. A statement that no actual or potential conflict of interest or unfair competitive advantage exists with respect to the advisory and assistance services to be provided in connection with the instant Subcontract or that any actual or potential conflict of interest or unfair competitive advantage that does or may exist with respect to the Subcontract in question has been communicated as part of the statement required by (A) above.

Work Hours:

A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). The work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Area Security Access:
No Clearance is required. However, the candidate must have the ability to obtain one if ever required.
