Communication Review Group — Social Media Analyst
Morgan Stanley is currently seeking candidates for an Social Media Analyst to join the Communications Review Group (CRG) review team. In this capacity, the Analyst will work closely with Financial Advisors and provide guidance on their social media marketing and advertising content to verify compliance with governing regulations such as FINRA Rule 2210, SEC '40 Act Advisory rules, internal policies and resolution of issues. The Analyst will also partner with the Firm's working group colleagues in Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology and third-party vendors, as needed.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Carefully review interactive and static content to determine if a violation of the firm's social media policy/content guidelines has occurred

Escalate violations to the appropriate branch management team or Financial Advisors with a request for remediation

Maintain in-depth records of social media violations and repeat offenders and notify branch management team when a lockdown may be in order

Assist the field with general social media inquiries, including audit preparation

Interact with internal technology teams as well as external vendors to assist with product enhancements

Identify areas of potential risk within the social media platforms and escalate to vendors accordingly

Implement ad hoc special projects and adjust policies and procedures as new industry regulations arise

Inform and educate the business/field of policy changes and processes

Lead and participate in social media trainings with marketing teams to ensure their understanding of policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS

Must have an understanding of regulatory rules and guidelines as they apply to social media

Must have strong communication skills (verbal, written)

Must demonstrate a strong appreciation for a service-oriented business platform

Proven ability to work both independently and as a team and present/develop ideas

Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining diligent and detail oriented

Must have good time management and organizational skills with the ability to determine high priority tasks
Required Education and Licenses:

BA or BS

Computer applications experience a must, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
