Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance III in Lampasas, Texas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose problems of inoperative equipment or faulty conditions.
  • Repair or recommend repair of equipment with de faulty properties.
  • Install or assist with the install or assembly of new equipment. Perform preventative maintenance as required.
  • Perform more complex facilities repairs and maintenance, including electrical service.
  • Operate a forklift.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
  • Train other maintenance workers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least four (4) year of general maintenance experience.
  • Proficient working with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, air, and steam equipment.
  • Use hand tools to maintain, repair and assemble equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Effectively demonstrate keen understanding of shop mathematics to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
  • Follow safe work practices, verbal, written directions and procedures
  • Obtain and maintain a forklift certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Heavy physical effort may be required.
  • Moderate to heavy physical effort such as lifting, carrying, etc. may be required.
  • Prolonged standing,
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, climbing and reaching.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees.
