As the Senior Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, you will be responsible for helping our team not run out of products and services so that we can continue to serve our tribe with life changing products and services when they need them.
Team You Will Lead and Grow With: You will lead 2 Directors and a team of buyers and sourcers. This team is fun and quirky! Your future leader strives for extreme excellence in everything they do, cares for people and our mission deeply, and does not take himself too seriously!
What Winning Looks Like:
- Maintain a never out of inventory level while reducing costs in waste, labor, transportation, and storage through effective planning, efficiencies and standardization using just in time methodology.
- Earn a seat at the table through with our business unit leaders to help guide pricing and vendor selection early in product creation.
- Work with business and department leaders to understand and forecast needs and help develop strategies that meet our just in time inventory levels.
- Develop trustworthy supplier relationships where you have primary and secondary dependable strategic sources that believe in our mission and make it a priority to support our mission.
- Dive into NetSuite to see how we could utilize the functionality better to make the team and our processes more efficient.
Skills Needed to Win:
- 5-10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics
- 3+ years of leadership experience (You must love people, and love helping to develop them)
- Degree in supply chain is great, but it is NOT required. (We hire for experience, not just credentials!)
- This role (and our company) is highly relational. You must be able to build relationships quickly and build trust over time from those relationships.
