We are seeking to hire a Sr. Business Analyst supporting a pivotal initiative within a critical business function of a fast-growing, innovative bio-pharma client.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Serve as the liaison on the Client Engagement side between technology and business end-users
Work with Business and IT Partners to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis
Team with client to test the business application to verify that all Business Partner requirements are incorporated in the design and the application meets client expectations
Work with client partners, Account Management and Program / Project Managers to build quality business cases for prospective projects, including value and return on investment metrics
Improve business process design through the application of operational excellence techniques
Translate business and user needs into accurate testable and verifiable business requirement specifications
Work with Business Stakeholders and Program / Project Manager to ensure IT programs and projects realize identified business value and outcomes
Participate in high level planning and budgeting exercises.
Work with the Solution Architect, Technical Analysts and development team to ensure that they fully understand the specifications
Verify solution's alignment with requirements
Facilitates user acceptance testing by the business
Participate in the development of Quality Assurance Plans, Test Strategies and Training Programs
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Current background / experience with Business Analysis medium to large programs or projects within the Life Science industry
Technology Solution implementation background (Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)) experience)
Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Excel
Excellent technical writing, analytical thinking and problem solving, work organization, business analysis effort estimation; opportunity identification; assumption and constraint identification; transition support
Have a bias for action
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Clinical supply chain IT knowledge (4 tears)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related field
