Position Highlights
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant to provide support to multiple faculty members. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of administrative duties including document preparation, scheduling meetings, event coordination, travel arrangements, record keeping, and data entry.
- Assists faculty with annual update of their UA Vitae and facilitates UA Vitae requests from Faculty Affairs.
- Provides administrative support for the department Promotion & Tenure committee and for faculty who are going through the UA promotion process.
- Provides administrative support in the recruiting process for prospective UA faculty. Coordinates the on boarding process for new UA faculty and staff by submitting IT requests, Key Desk requests, and setting up their work area.
- Provides administrative support for monthly department Ground Rounds.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation (written and verbal).
- Ability to set priorities, perform under pressure, and complete multiple tasks within appropriate time frames.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience required.
