Job Brief:
The Security Regional Manager is critical to the successful operation and management of the consultative security component for all TCS security stakeholders. In the working title of Major, the regional security manager must possess the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform as an industry expert with demonstrative leadership capability. The Security Regional Manager reports directly to the Director of Security.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the assigned regions.
- Manage administrative functions to include but not limited to creating schedules, issuing corrective and disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, employee time reporting, shift and monthly reports.
- Manage the daily operations of the assigned regions.
- Lead, manage, and train security supervisory personnel in support of the TCS security mission.
- Assign/reassign tasks and responsibilities to ensure that the best personnel resources.
- are being used in the best manner.
- Create operational environments that reflect the TCS Security professional performance measures.
- Report all personnel workplace incidents, allegations, and violations of operational standards through the chain of command.
- Liaison with TCS Security clients to ensure SOW compliance and maintain reputable working relationship.
- Manage and report all aspects of the assigned regional operations.
Performance Criteria:
- Provide guidance to supervisory personnel in the performance of their duties to coach and/or mentor leadership skills and professional development.
- Supervise all reporting personnel under your command to promote uniformity in appearance and performance.
- Conduct unscheduled visits throughout the assigned region to assess performance and professional decorum.
- Supply, as possible, the broad scope of gear and equipment needed to promote productivity.
- Endorse, when possible, communication efforts to stay connected to, provide individualized support to, and promote morale-building measures for all assigned security personnel.
- Facilitate communications (visual and verbal) as needed in support of all client level security stakeholders.
- Report all matters that require executive level decision and/or action.
- Fully participate in all senior and executive management discussions (visual and/or
- verbal) to ensure proper pass down of TCS Security goals, objectives, and operating procedures.

Preferred Knowledge:
Basic understanding of OWCP rules, OSHA guidelines, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Working Environment & Physical Requirements:
The administrative requirements of this position are typically conducted in an office setting or virtually. The operational requirements of this position will require a lot of walking, standing and local travel.
