Job Description:


McLaughlin Research Corporation seeks a full time Security Receptionist/Escort to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), which provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy in the areas of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. The Security Receptionist/Escort shall provide technical, administrative, and project support services in support of security administration, access control and escorting support services as required at NSWCDD. The Security Receptionist/Escort shall perform general security administration duties necessary to meet the needs of NSWCDD and assist with performing a wide variety of complex security duties.

  • Answer/respond to routine questions related to security
  • Maintain classified network accounts required to support the department
  • Provide security support at meetings on/off NSWCDD
  • Assist with development/update of security sustainment plan
  • Report security incidents immediately
  • Develop, maintain, and update security Standard Operating Procedures



Job Requirements:
  • Experience should include routine record keeping functions with attention to detail.

  • Effective oral communication skills.

  • Experience should demonstrate skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), basic correspondence, answering and screening incoming telephone calls, and the operation of basic office equipment.

  • Escorting of uncleared personnel within classified spaces.

  • Steel toed shoes will be required when escorting in construction areas.

This position is contingent on contract award.
