School Social Worker Job at Collier Youth Services
Collier School is seeking multiple Counselors/Social Workers to provide therapeutic support and assist our STAR and Kateri programs
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services to outreach programs
- Individual and group counseling sessions
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans and case formulations
- Strong ability to build rapport with students and hold them accountable
- Attend meetings, manage paperwork and keep accurate statistics on programs
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assist with social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Comply with IEP rules and regulations
- Keep accurate notes of therapeutic interventions and sessions
- Develop intervention plans for student
- Work closely with district and district administration on methods to enhance student abilities
- Provide home visits as necessary
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling
- Must have a valid NJ License- LCSW/LSW or LPC/LAC
- Experience working with chronic absenteeism preferred
- Experience with CBT, DBT, and ERP treatment modalities
- Experience working with at-risk youth and/or classified students with diverse needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, work ethic, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
