What Qualifications we looking for?
Postsecondary education preferred.
Five (5) or more years of broad-based safety experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of General Industrial Safety.
Familiar with OSHA and federal safety regulations.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Experience in producing professional documents and presentations through the use software programs: excel, word, power point, etc.
Experience in group facilitation, conducting training to workers and adult learners preferred.
Experience in communication with outside vendors and contractors.
Ability to work with diverse groups.
Bi-lingual helpful

A performance driven safety trainer who wants to be a part of providing a safe work environment for On Top Of the World Clearwater entities. This positions will work under the primary direction of the Senior Manager, Community Resources and perform a wide range of activities related to safety training and training program administration.
You will be responsible for:
Work with the Senior Manager, Community Resources and the Superintendent, Safety Compliance to assist in establishing procedures for management of the company’s safety program.
Assist in identifying, determining and enforcing, with management oversite, through functional work groups, the legal, regulatory and safety requirements as relates to federal, state and local regulatory agency’s compliance in accordance with current regulations.
Work with employees and management in training, development, and dissemination of company safety policy.
At the direction of management, inspects sites to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, helps to determines corrective or preventive measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Provides photo and/or documentation as needed.
Provides information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions.
May assist in the investigation of accidents and injuries and assists in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations when needed.
May assist in compiling accident reports required by regulatory agencies and as directed by the Community Resource Senior Manager.
Represents the organization in safety groups and programs.
Responsible for maintaining an inventory of safety supplies and equipment and reordering as needed.
Represents the Safety Department in community functions, disaster preparedness, and other areas as required.
Assists in the development and delivery of the organizations monthly safety curriculum.
Other duties as assigned.
