WCS Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Wound Care RN in a prestigious Hospital in the Bronx. This position is full time - days with top paying being offered!
Job Function:
- Evaluating new and continuing residents for wounds and skin alterations
- Notifying physician and Nurse Supervisor of wound changes
- Implementing orders and providing treatments to heal wounds
- Identifying wound types and providing education to other nursing staff
- Documenting wound status and treatment interventions
- Consulting with residents, family members, and physicians in planning the resident’s care, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Providing other direct nursing care as necessary
Job Requirements:
- WCC and OMS certification required
- Licensed New York State RN
- BLS
