As a Surgery Nurse (RN) at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital , you will have unique opportunities at every corner. With an average of over 4,000 surgical cases per year and 5 licensed operating rooms (including one hybrid OR/Cath Lab), you will learn from multiple disciplines, develop close relationships with your close-knit team, and be able to make a difference in the lives of thousands. From trauma, burn, pediatrics, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, gynecology, surgical oncology and much more, your critical thinking and organizational skills will be key as you serve as the liason for your assigned area.

Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital opened in 2003 as a dedicated cardiovascular surgery hospital and expanded to include bariatric and general surgery in 2006. With those changes, this 57-bed hospital in north Fresno has quietly become a worldwide leader in bariatric and metabolic surgery. Fresno Heart is highly collaborative with the Community Regional staff.

Qualifications:
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an approved nursing program
Current California Registered Nurse license
Current BLS certification
