RESPONSIBILITIES AS THE ASSISTED LIVING REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Planning, directing and organizing services of Assisted Living in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines
Provide hiring, evaluation, training and consistent oversight of caregivers and work assignments
Assist with Internal and External marketing and events to meet occupancy goals
Ability to build effective working relationships and a positive team atmosphere with people of all backgrounds
Possess initiative, good judgment and leadership ability to work well with the community, tenants, families and staff
Possess understanding and compassion for the elderly population
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTED LIVING REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
- Graduate of a state board approved RN program
- Currently licensed as a RN in the state of Iowa
- Completion of state mandatory supervisory course within six months of employment
- Experience with Assisted Living or long-term care programs
- One year of management or supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Heart for working with elderly people
