Respiratory Therapist - Full Time
Position Overview:
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for the delivery, set-up and training of patients of respiratory equipment and services provide by SG Homecare. RT will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with the clients and patients.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver and set-up respiratory equipment/services. Equipment includes but is not limited to: cpap, bipap, suction unit, apnea monitor and ventilator.
- Demonstrate equipment and give proper training to patient / care giver.
- Pick up equipment when use is disconnected.
- Clean and test equipment to make patient ready.
- Phone follow-ups as determined.
- Assist warehouse team as needed.
- Pull supplies for mail delivery.
- Schedule appointments
- Trouble shoot equipment as needed
- Handle patient telephone calls.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Basic computer skills
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Time Management
- Basic Insurance/ contract understanding
- Ability to read and understand sleep study reports
