Summary:

The Reservations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the inside sales team to facilitate meeting and exceeding company goals by providing essential customer service related duties.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Answer existing calls through call center queues to assist travel agent partners with changes to existing quotes and active reservations. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
  • Process payments and confirm services are available
  • Resell services on confirmed bookings that are unavailable due to supplier inventory; e.g. hotel stays, flight schedule changes and sightseeing tours
  • Respond to on-line quote request forms via phone or e-mail to qualify details. Assign qualified leads to sales agents using Salesforce
  • Respond to general reservations questions received through website. Follow up with web options not converted to actualized bookings
  • Review previous day’s bookings for quality control
  • Assist Aftersales team with processing documents when needed
  • Support Customer Service team with post travel case resolution as needed
  • Participate in after hours on call rotation to assist traveling customers with disruptions
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

  • European destination or European personal travel knowledge preferred
  • Background in a customer service or sales support role required. Call center experience preferred
  • Proven customer service and time management skills required
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Knowledge of airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred)
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends

Home Office Requirements:

Qualified candidates will be provided all hardware necessary (computer and peripherals) for position. You will need to provide the following:

  • Dedicated work space free from distractions
  • Stable home internet connection, wireless connection preferred
  • 30 mbps download and 6 mbps upload– minimum
