We are seeking a passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. While you don’t need to leap tall buildings in a single bound, if you work hard, play nice, and strive to grow professionally, we could be your ideal match.

While there is no typical day in the office, you can expect to:

• Provide outpatient care in a clinic setting
• Provide behavioral health consults throughout the Northlake Behavioral Health System
• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and support teams
• Provide telehealth services to clients if needed due to unforeseen circumstances

Develop treatment plans and goals:

• Establish measurable appropriate goals, utilizing knowledge of the treatment programs level of care and services offered, client diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning
• Adjust treatment plans as needed to reflect clients’ progress

Complete all necessary documentation:

• Complete evaluations and progress reports within the specified timeframe, including long- and short-term goals
• Complete all objective documentation following industry standards, licensing regulations, and accreditation best practices
• Respect confidentiality of client records and treatment - HIPPA
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified PMHNP
• LA License
• Must be able and willing to prescribe medications as needed
• Experience working with behavioral health populations specifically clients with substance use disorders
• Down to earth with a good sense of humor is highly desirable
