This is a fast-paced ADULT pre and post -operative area where Electroconvulsive Therapy is performed.

Hours are 6am-2:30pm with no weekends, holidays or on-call.

• 
  Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
• Administers I.V. therapy safely and accurately as appropriate.
• Intervenes to restrain violent or potentially violent or suicidal patients by verbal or physical means as trained in atherapeutic manner. Calls codes as necessary.
• Consistently maintains the proper milieu of the ECT department through interventions, as appropriate

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree
