Receptionist PT - Dedham, MA Job at Walden Behavioral Care LLC
Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the hospital, including the inpatient and residential programs.
Hours/Shift: Part Time, 3pm - 9pm
Primary responsibilities include:
- Comply with internal policies and procedures and applicable external regulatory requirements
- Answer phones, take messages
- Provide excellent customer for patients, family members, and other visitors
- Operate office equipment
- Data entry
- File and organize information
- Respond to inquiries and requests from patients, patient’s families and other hospital personnel
- Monitor all patients and visitors entering the building for COVID symptoms
- Greet and manage the visitation schedule
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Experience:
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
- Experience in medical/behavioral health setting, preferred
Required competencies:
- Independent judgment and confidentiality
- Communication skills, including verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and function well in a fast paced mental health environment
Supervision Received:
- Reports to Chief Operating Officer or designee
