Receptionist PT – Dedham, MA


Job Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the hospital, including the inpatient and residential programs.


Hours/Shift:
Part Time, 3pm - 9pm


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Comply with internal policies and procedures and applicable external regulatory requirements
  • Answer phones, take messages
  • Provide excellent customer for patients, family members, and other visitors
  • Operate office equipment
  • Data entry
  • File and organize information
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from patients, patient’s families and other hospital personnel
  • Monitor all patients and visitors entering the building for COVID symptoms
  • Greet and manage the visitation schedule


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred


Experience:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
  • Experience in medical/behavioral health setting, preferred


Required competencies:

  • Independent judgment and confidentiality
  • Communication skills, including verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and function well in a fast paced mental health environment


Supervision Received:

  • Reports to Chief Operating Officer or designee

  • General hospital environment
