Marketing Alliance Group (MAG) is looking for a Receptionist / Billing Clerk to join our team. Below is an outline of the responsibilities and requirements of this critical role. The receptionist not only greets and professionally handles visitors, but also handles a variety of administrative tasks which require the use of MS Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally greet and welcome visitors.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Verifies accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors.
- Generate billing documents.
- Perform general bookkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry.
- Customer service attitude with a professional demeanor
- Experience utilizing MS Excel in a professional administrative capacity
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
