Knichel Logistics is searching for a detail-oriented, welcoming individual who can provide vital clerical support all while being the first face and voice our customers see and hear each day!


The primary function of the Receptionist/Finance Support role is to serve as the front desk attendant for the company's main office, screening in-person visitors and phone calls and directing them to the appropriate representative. This role will also provide administrative support to the company's various departments, especially the Finance department. Duties will include preparing and printing financial reports, and assisting in billing reconciliation.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.


Preferred:

An Associates’s Degree or similar in Business Management, Communications, or Administration

1-3 years’ experience in reception or similar clerical role


WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

    • Possess high attention to detail in conjunction with operational effectiveness.
    • The ability to obtain, through training and hands-on experience, a general working knowledge of technologies related to Third Party Logistics (3PL), as well as general office administration related technologies.
    • Must be able to communicate at a high level, both written and verbally, with customers, vendors and various levels within the organization.
    • Excellent organizational skills


WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
    • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
    • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail & deliveries
    • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (allow people front-door access, monitor logbook)
    • Assisting with office inventory and restocking items in common areas (restrooms, kitchen, breakrooms)
    • Perform other clerical duties such as document retrieval, filing, scanning and imaging
    • Performs all duties in a manner that is personally cooperative and supportive of all other members of the company team.
    • Provides front desk & receptionist duties in a manner consistent with company policy, guidelines and image.
    • Provide Receptionist & Administrative Support to all areas of the company, specifically to administrative departments, including Finance.
    • Maintains professionalism in all interactions with customers, vendors, employees, and the community at large. Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position and business environment.
    • All other duties and tasks necessary to achieve company goals as directed by management
