CENTURY 21 Spearfish Realty, a real estate brokerage with roots going back over 65 years in Spearfish, is looking for a full time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our Broker and Broker Associates, assisting in daily office needs and helping Broker Associates manage transactions for successful closings. Administrative Assistant responsibilities also include preparing reports, maintaining appropriate filing systems, and social media management. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, have the ability to evolve with new technology, and work in a business to business casual environment. They will be able to organize their work using tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and typical office equipment. If you have previous experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact for clients
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Provide general support for clients and agents
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Stay up to date on social media platforms and maintain simple social media posts.
- Maintain online MLS and property data systems.
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact list
- Provide general support to visitors
Skills
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Excellent email communication skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Self motivation and ability work without direct supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Social media and marketing skills
- High School diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
- Active driver's license and reliable transportation is required
- Ability to lift and carry normal office supplies

Pay: $16.00 per hour
