Ranch Hand Job at Lone Creek Cattle Company
The Farm Hand will work in the day to day operations of this diversified operation. Duties could include farming and cattle work. Day to day duties will include feeding, monitoring herd health, vaccinating and treating cattle, and rotating cattle between pastures. Additional duties will include pen maintenance and fencing.
The Farm Hand will also work with seasonal farm tasks including assisting with planting, pivot irrigation, harvest, meadow haying, and snow removal. This position will require someone that is willing to work in all aspects of this diversified operation. Some experience operating farm equipment and working with cattle is required. Assume other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree or related experience in agriculture and farming
- Knowledge of the cattle and farming industry
- Ability to work with farming equipment
- Stable and progressive work history
- Flexible and open to change
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to prioritize work
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
- General understanding of safety precautions (i.e., farm machinery and equipment.)
- Mechanical aptitude necessary
- Ability to travel both air and surface – valid driver’s license required
- Able to maintain confidentiality of various projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $23.50 per hour
