MANDEX Project Manager (MHS LAN)

MANDEX has a need for a Project Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC. The MHS LAN Project Manager will support MANDEX efforts by leading the MHS LAN Infrastructure/Cabling team in the design, development, procurement, integration, testing, and installation of LAN/WLAN systems.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

General Management Tasks:

The Project Manager (PM) shall provide day-to-day oversight to the operations of the MHS LAN Infrastructure/Cabling Team while working closely with the client and the MHS Program Manager. The PM will be responsible for ensuring that the team’s performance meets all Government contracting requirements within cost, schedule, and quality of work.

EXPERIENCE:

• Ten (10) years of direct work experience with LAN or Wireless LAN Communications. Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include: Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of LAN and/or Wireless LAN Communications.
• Four (4) years as manager of the Military Health Systems Projects to include: Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work & Balancing Resources, Preparing Engineered Cost Estimates, and Logistics Management.
• Note: Experience may be concurrent.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.

TRAVEL:

• Approximately 10% travel, as needed, to provide onsite project management support for installation efforts.

SECURITY: Ability to obtain SECRET.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business, Project Management, or MBA.
