We are currently seeking a Production Operator (Production Technician) to join our team in Woodridge, Illinois .
Schedule : Monday- Friday first shift, 5:00 am to 5:30 pm
Pay Rate : $26.34 / hour
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Operate bottling equipment, loading raw materials by hand and by forklift, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and cleaning, quality control inspections, and computerized production data logging
Cross training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed
Support Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication activities on workstations throughout the factory
Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime
Ensure quality inspections and sensory testing is being completed
Load and unload trailers with materials for operations
Assist with troubleshooting and basic equipment repair and escalation via tagging notifications
Record and chart production output and equipment downtime
Be an active member in SHO to setup the team for success
Ensure housekeeping and sanitation practices are maintained on lines
Support equipment changeovers to accommodate production demands
Lead problem solving activities in independent and team setting utilizing GSTD
Maintain the factory in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Interact with production team members, quality control, and Maintenance technicians to maximize output and efficiency
Additional tasks assigned by leadership Qualifications
Key qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years prior experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry or a clean manufacturing environment
Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP)
Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively - Solid problem solving and decision making skills
Comfort working in a high speed production environment
Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7business operating through most weekends and holidays
Successful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check are required
Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold and cold)
