The Position:
The Firm is seeking a Product Management Associate to join the Marketing & Communications team in its New York office. The individual will assist in the marketing of Brookfield and Oaktree strategies across various investment vehicles to financial intermediaries and advisors around the world. The role entails working closely with investment teams, sales team, legal professionals as well as our corporate brand and communications team and external agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, management and maintenance of product-specific marketing collateral and campaigns (off and online).
- Manage marketing deliverables across media such as printed collateral, microsites, videos, presentations, emails and social posts for scaled distribution and individual sales engagements.
- Manage monthly/quarterly material update process.
- Perform competitive analysis and talking points.
- Proactively work with global sales teams to generate content ideas and methods of distribution.
- Identify new and innovative ways to package content.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or another related field or demonstrated comparable experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent project management skills, including an ability to exert influence and move projects and multi-component campaigns forward.
- Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy and consistency.
- Strong interest in financial services marketing, and experience with asset management (specifically alternative assets) and intermediary channel preferred.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Desire to work in a team environment possessing strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $105,000
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary, a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education, and designations.
