Position Summary

Crystal Management is seeking a Principal Network Integrator / Programmer to help support our Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management - Next-Gen (JSP ETM-NG) program at the Pentagon / Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.

Responsibilities

• Program applications like Ansible to push changes to network devices.
• Configure network tools to provide up-to-date configurations of network devices.
• Utilize Remedy (ITSM) / Service Now (SNOW) for task management.
• Troubleshoot and initiate tasks without direct supervision.
• Troubleshoot devices not responding to management tools.
• Configure and install various network devices and services.
• Use of current and emergent network design principles and protocols.

Education/Certification Requirements

• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 compliance baseline certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)
• AND one Computing Environment (CE) nationally recognized certification for network administrator/engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with programming and scripting
• 3+ years of experience working in a DoD environment.
• Strong team player and able to push through objectives.
• Strong understanding of routing / switching.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP (ports and traffic flow) fundamentals
• Experience with IP Subnet and subnetting.
• Strong understanding RegEx.
• Experience with Ansible Automations (Tower)
• Programming and scripting with products like Python, Perl, Ansible, KSH, Bash, or SH
• Experience with network virtualization technologies (software defined network).
• Experience with multi-tenant applications.
• Able to report onsite as indicated above

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, Google, Rackspace
• Able to integrate and troubleshoot software applications and hardware platforms (as an individual with limited supervision)
• Capable of scripting in PowerShell, Python, TCL and / or PERL.
• Experience with Network monitoring (server, application, and transport).

Clearance Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Able to obtain SCI eligibility
