Prep Cook / Dishwasher Job at Ferndale Project
At Ferndale Project, the experimental arm of Eastern Market Brewing Co., the Prep Cook/ dishwasher is a key role in our scratch kitchen ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. The Prep Cook is responsible for prep list completion, mixing, measuring, chopping, and assembling ingredients within the kitchen for food service. This position may also be scheduled for dishwashing shifts as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures prep list is prepared according to specifications by following recipes and batches.
- Follows all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensures sidework is completed daily
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Maintains positive communication and promotes a respectful teamwork environment
- Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventory
Required Skills and Abilities
- Must be over the age of 21
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Must follow all kitchen safety standards at all times
- Ability to succeed under pressure and remain positive and productive way, especially during peak hours
- Availability with the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
