We are looking for a strong cook to join our team!

Troutbeck is a boutique resort located in the Hudson Valley in Amenia, NY in the northern Hudson Valley. We have 38 guest rooms, 75 seats in our dining room, and an incredible 250 acres of forest, streams, gardens and buildings rich with history.

We are looking for experienced Line Cooks to work full time in the restaurant which is headed by celebrated Chef Gabe McMackin, who is committed to taking the food and beverage program at Troutbeck to new and exciting places and telling the story of this unique property.

This job includes day-to-day cooking and an opportunity to be a part of a great and growing F&B program.

What you should bring:

We expect someone in this role to be excited. We expect this person to come willing to learn how we do things and learn our story.

• Have at least 1 year experience at a similar position, preferably in a high-volume environment, solid skills, and eagerness to learn.
• Our ideal candidate is self-motivated maintains the highest standards for themselves and the team.
• Have an innate sense of hospitality and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience but also an exceptional work experience
• Be reliable, punctual and able to be a part of the team and communicate respectfully with all staff.
