Job Summary:
The Physician & Community Liaison (Physical Therapy Sales Rep) is responsible for selling/marketing the services of Pivot Physical Therapy clinics in the specified region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Physician & Community Liaison (Physical Therapy Sales Rep) calls on physicians and surgeons to build referral relationships and uses creative ways to develop new business. He/she works with clinic directors to ensure excellent customer service and to build a strong following.

Position Summary:
The Physician & Community Liaison is responsible for the growth of outpatient rehabilitation referrals in defined region(s) by identifying, developing, maintaining and growing relationships with key physician and other referral sources in the local community to drive new patient volume.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow referral sources, affiliates, business contacts, and patients within specified region(s), in collaboration with Marketing Business Partners and the regional Operations team
  • Effectively analyze regional new patient referral data to develop weekly and monthly plans and priorities for maintaining and growing established referral sources while also creating new sources
  • Develop strategic program specialties by understanding competitive offerings specific to the region, identifying key referral sources, and aligning with specialty clinicians to create a differentiated proposition
  • Identify local opportunities that efficiently increase brand awareness, working with Clinic Teams and Marketing Business Partners to assess, execute and measure the impact of community engagement events or local affiliate opportunities
  • Maintain accurate, detailed and organized records of all contacts including use of CRM tool
  • Meet (and exceed) patient referral targets
  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and engage with contacts in the medical and healthcare sector
  • Maintain current knowledge of the competition
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or health related field or equivalent work experience
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years outside sales experience preferr Healthcare related background highly desirable
  • Certification/Licensure: N/A
  • Knowledge and Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
    • Knowledgeable with CRMs
    • Proven experience delivering measurable results in a high-performance environment
    • Proven track record of sales effectiveness
    • Effective in long term relationship management as well as proactive in expanding network opportunities
    • Highly disciplined and motivated; willing to make cold calls and new introductions with persistence and professionalism
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
