Daily Work Times: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72
Stating Pay: $14.83
Position Summary:
Validates and registers all patients’ demographic, medical and financial information in an accurate, complete, and timely manner in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures.
Required:
- 4-6 months prior medical clerical experience, or Associate Degree in healthcare related field.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable of computer programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other programs used by McLaren.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of health insurances and respective regulations.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with patients about insurance deductibles and copays.
- Ability to explain healthcare policies included but not limited to HIPPA, informed consent and patient identification.
