About Eye Love Optometry
Established in 1997, Eye Love Optometry offers a premier experience through modern technology and high-fashion eyewear, but loyal patients return mainly because of a consistent culture of caring and service. They come back because they know everyone knows their first name and remembers the personal stories exchanged over the years, understanding that Eye Love Optometry does not just specialize in eye care, but in “individual person” care. Serving the residents and families of Contra Costa County and beyond, the practice provides a total eye and vision care experience and provides a range of services, including myopia management for children and young adults (a niche that is actively being developed), specialty contact lenses, digital eye strain relief, dry eye therapy, ocular disease diagnosis and management, emergency eye care, and surgical laser and eye co-management. Eye Love Optometry is currently investing in marketing to expand its patient base and is, therefore, looking to add an optometrist to its current team of six employees to support its growth.
This modernized practice is at the forefront of the industry's most advanced technology, enabling optometrists to be fully armed to competently diagnose, monitor, and treat various eye diseases, as well as cater to unique visual needs with the best ophthalmic products. Computerized diagnostic instrumentation readily accessible include the Optos Daytona Plus Optomap Retinal Scan, Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography, Nidek TRS-5100 Automated Refraction System (digital phoropter), Nidek ARK-530A Autorefractor/Keratometer, Reichert Ocular Response Analyzer, Reichert iPac Pachymeter, Humphrey FDT Perimeter, Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Haag-Streit BM 900 Biomicroscopes, Welch-Allyn Panoptic Ophthalmoscopes, Keeler All-Pupil II Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscopes, and Essilor ALM-700 Auto-Lensmeter. It is a paperless practice, using MaximEyes Practice Management System and Electronic Health Records.
Eye Love Optometry is also well-known for its eyewear styling by its knowledgeable opticians, branded as “Eyewear Gurus,” who select the best frames suited for each patient’s individual medical needs, lifestyle, hobbies, appearance, preferences, and budget. Patients enjoy a family-friendly, pressure-free experience as they browse a wide selection of unique designer frames and sunglasses from the EyeBar—because the eyewear is “served as ART.” That said, EYE LOVE OPTOMETRY proudly won Honorable Mention in Invision Magazine's 2019 America's Finest Optical Retailers Contest.
