Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in Geospatial Sciences in the Department of Geography and Anthropology for the academic year 2022-2023. These positions are on an as needed basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

The Department of Geography and Anthropology Department at Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Geospatial Sciences including GIS and Land Survey. These courses are most often at an introductory level.

Assignments to faculty in the pool are based on departmental needs and are for one or two courses per semester. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses maybe be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus.

• An earned Master's, Doctorate or other Terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent in Geography or Geospatial Sciences, or a closely related field is required.
• Candidates with a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in Geographic Information Systems or related field, along with relevant professional experience will also be considered.
• Experience with ESRI GIS products is required.

• Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses for online or hybrid sections
• Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level
