A typical part-time schedule for Activity Leader while working with our kids is within the 2pm-7pm timeframe, and the salary rate is $15 per hour.

As Club Program Specialist you will be facilitator of all the fun and learning kids will be participating in. You will be responsible for organizing and implementing fun high yield learning activities that center around math, reading, writing, science, technology, arts/crafts, career preparation, health/life skills, and character/leadership

Health and Safety
- Ensuring A Healthy And Safe Environment At All Times
- Address And Welcome Visitors With Courtesy And Respect
- Contribute To Ensuring That Facilities, Equipment And Supplies Are Maintained
Program Development and Implementation
- Plan And Implement Daily Activities That Center Around Fun Learning Opportunities In The Areas Of Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Technology, Arts/Crafts, Career Preparation, Health/Life Skill, And Character/Leadership
- Recruit And Retain Members
- Create A Fun Learning Atmosphere
- Provide A Sound Youth Development Program Up To 29 Hours Per Week
- Must Have A Valid License And Ability To Drive A 15 Passenger Van As Requested
Teamwork
- Ensure A Productive Work Environment By Developing An Attitude Of Togetherness
- Work Collaboratively With BGCD Staff Members
- Provide Leadership In All Areas Of The Branch Operations
Technology
- Update And Maintain Skills In Use Of Current Technology And Information Management Systems
- Utilize Basic Computer skills To demonstrate And guide Lessons, As Well As To Document Program Activities And Reports
Partnership Development
- Contribute To Developing Partnerships With Parents And Families
Marketing and Public Relations
- Contribute To Developing And Maintaining Public Relations

- Assume Other Duties As Assigned
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
External: Maintains and share with immediate supervisor contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents and others to assist in resolving problems.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE OR ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
