What You Can Expect:
As a Paralegal/Contract Administrator, you will be responsible to perform contract review, make revisions, and negotiate with general contractors under the supervision and direction of the Risk Department Legal Counsel. Your day to day may include, but not be limited to
  • Analyze and report on specific risks associated with contracts.
  • Draft, evaluate and negotiate contract addendum based on an existing contract strategy.
  • Provide contract related issue resolution.
  • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Communicate with branch representatives, vendors, prime contractors and insurance professionals. Other duties as assigned.
To Be Successful:
  • Paralegal Qualification/Certificate or three years law-office/contract experience required.
  • Prior experience/knowledge of construction contracts is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat or other PDF management/processing software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an office setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate effectively.
