Orion Entry Level Flight Controller - Communication Systems
An individual in this position will s
erve as a spacecraft systems subject matter expert that utilizes expertise in design, development, flight control and instruction
areas of the Integrated Communications Systems Officer (INCO) discipline. Utilization of INCO expertise will support NASA's Orion vehicle for Artemis missions to the moon. Flight controllers with the INCO call sign are responsible for operating the Integrated Communications Systems from a flight control console located in the Mission Control Center (MCC) Houston. These individuals are also responsible for training astronauts and peers on those systems. Personnel will be expected to complete NASA led flight controller and instructor certifications for this area of expertise.
BS degree in engineering or applied science with no experience.
