HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


  • Shipping Support – You’ll be leading all activities on your assigned shift working towards shipping goals, material changes, and schedules. You will be guiding operators and their activities in the execution of logistics plans (receiving, line supply, and packaging) and working closely with the receiving department.
  • Continuous Improvement – We couldn’t do it without your owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN. You will identify opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste by applying this mindset!
  • Following Best Practices – You will be responsible for assisting with the development of best practices and operating shipping/receiving efforts in accordance with Food and Drug Administration guidelines, GMPs, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Point/Safety Quality Food program guidelines.
  • Direction and Servant Leadership – Lead and demonstrate your people skills as you provide direction and support to your team of operators.
  • Safety First – Our values are important to us with a focus on People Safety and Food Safety. Having a “safety first” attitude is an ingredient for success.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Demonstrate knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes
  • High School Diploma or GED with substantial related proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Previous logistics experience
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
  • A strong ability to work effectively with people cross-functionally and at all levels of an organization
  • Second shift & weekend work as needed
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry in a union and/or manufacturing environment
