Position Summary:*
The Operations Specialist oversees the safe receipt, storage, tagging, retrieval, dispatch and coordination of Russo inventory and supplies. Record and report any damage, concerns or issues with the inventory. The Operations Specialist is to ensure the facility is organized, safe and efficient.

Responsibilities/Duties:*

  • Oversee inventory control and check incoming and outgoing orders (Including dock tickets, transfers, UPS, etc.)
  • Authenticate, note, and report any discrepancies or damage
  • Ensure items are tagged properly
  • Oversee customer loading process and ensure quality customer service
  • Ensure items are properly stocked and located
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for staff and customers
  • Work with the sales department to ensure the showroom is properly stocked
  • Work with purchasing/receiving coordinator to complete the physical inventory process
  • Maintain the proper level of assembled inventory
  • Communicate new stock and sold items to the proper division/staff
  • Assist in communicating and purging aged inventory
  • Oversee planned maintenance of warehouse equipment and report service issues as needed
  • Other tasks as defined by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Must possess good general computer skills (Microsoft products)
  • The ability to take direction
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus!
  • Ability to drive a forklift is a plus (we can provide training)

Credentials and Experience:*

  • 2 years of previous warehouse or operations experience
  • Forklift certified (we can provide)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands*

  • Employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing between 40-50lbs
  • Required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform work
  • May be required to stand, walk and use hands-fingers for long periods of time
