The Securities Lending Operations Associate will work closely with business partners to support the Securities Lending Operations and Trading teams in all facets of the business. Attention to detail and the ability to process a heavy workload under strict time constraints are critical. The Securities Lending Desk is looking for a qualified individual driven to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor trade settlement and position excess via DTC
  • Process Fully Paid Loans and Returns in Loanet and Broadridge Anetics
  • Utilize the Stock Loan Feed Aggregator to generate availability data
  • Assist with LCOR and NGT automated order flow and borrow processing
  • Monthly billing processing and reconciliation
  • Quarterly Focus Report collection
  • Process Position Audit Confirmations
  • Create estimates for potential Fully Paid Lending accounts using ThoughtSpot and LendingPit
  • Monitor trade profitability for Trading Desk using LendingPit and Broadridge Anetics
  • Perform all other core operational tasks such as mark-to-market, memo segregation, returns, rate changes, contract compare, buy-ins, balancing, Loanet-DTC reconciliation, box loans, etc.

  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced rapidly changing environment with no margin of error
  • Self-motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure a high degree of accuracy for all tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and balance requests without losing sight of overall objectives
  • Detail orientated and excellent documentational skills
  • Demonstrate full understanding of the trade life cycle
  • Develop expertise around team control mechanisms and reporting
  • Strong, effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Required/Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Series 99 required within 6 months of hire required
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Securities Lending operations support or related field is preferred
  • Experience with BETA, Loanet, and web-based DTCC portal preferred
  • Proven ability to create ad hoc processes, Power Point presentations, and high level Excel workflows
This line of business operates from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM with infrequent exceptions. Work location is Hybrid, with initial period of 100% in office for the first 8 weeks.
