The Operations Research Analyst will provide support to the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Waterfront Combat Systems Support Program at NSWC Port Hueneme Division, San Diego Detachment by supporting the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) across a variety of duties and responsibilities. The successful candidate will become a part of a very dynamic, fast-paced team that requires flexibility in tasking to rapidly respond to fleet requirements. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Support the ISEA with engineering analysis, assessments, and investigations.
• Provide support to test and evaluation, design, and production efforts across a multitude of focus areas.
• Support fleet readiness initiatives and processes, including maintenance and sustaining engineering tasking.
• Engage in data analysis and fact-finding.
• Provide support for configuration control of hardware and software.
• Provide technical support services for shipboard events.

Required Skills:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of Naval Combat Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results.
• Basic understanding of the developmental test (DT) and operational test (OT) processes.
• Ability to obtain a valid U.S. government secret clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Existing U.S. government secret clearance.
• Familiarity with the LCS Combat Systems.
• Demonstrated experience with DT and OT.
• Demonstrated experience with Combat Systems Ships Qualification and Test (CSSQT).
• A combined 1-6 years of experience between configuration management, project management/coordination, scheduling or test engineering for the Navy.
