Oil Settlement Analyst Job at The Atlantic Group
The Atlantic Group has partnered with a large commodities organization in the Houston, TX area. They have an immediate need for an Oil Settlements Analyst to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with trading counterparties and RTOs/ISOs to validate and resolve any discrepancies in settlement invoices.
- Verify all settlements amounts have been received/paid in accordance with payment terms.
- Match internal trade tracker with counterparties and trading agreements to ensure all trades are being properly captured.
- Participate in daily, weekly and monthly settlement of physical and financial trading activities (Accounts Payable/Receivable).
- Accountable for monthly management reporting to capture trading volume.
Work Schedule: Hybrid in office/work from home
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study.
- 3+ years’ settlements experience with ISO/RTOs and bilateral counter parties.
- Ability to reconcile ISO/RTO invoices – ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT and CAISO.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. VBA programming experience is a plus.
- Prior experience with CXL or similar ETRM systems.
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of client material.
- Proven ability to prioritize and problem solve and deliver high level of quality service to clients daily under tight timeframes.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
