- Annual starting income is $72,000

We have a multidisciplinary fast growing private practice looking for an individual with an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) License for a Full-time, or Part-Time position. Spanish is a plus.

Mentoring and Training
Mentoring Program in place to support recent graduates or therapy assistants with no pediatric experience. They are paired with a highly experienced trainer. The training is paid and last 3 weeks. After, you are assigned a mentor that supports you inside the company with technical and administrative concerns to help you feel comfortable and do your job well. Participate on monthly Reflective Supervision individual meetings to discuss challenges and develop best strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure from California
- Bilingual Spanish (Preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test and Physical
- COVID 19 Vaccination and Booster card. (Accommodations provided).
- Desire to work with patients in the clinic setting
- Pediatric experience is a plus!

Job Responsibilities:
- Under direction of an Occupational Therapist implement treatment plans in a play-based approach to clients ages birth to eighteen years of age.
- Provide clinic based services
- Monitor client’s progress and report to Supervisor OT
- Provide parent education regarding fine motor improvement strategies, so the caregivers can carry it in the home.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team including: Child Development Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Service Coordinators, Physicians and family.
- Support and facilitate each child's progress through developmental milestones, increase opportunities for inclusion and enhance trusted caregiver-child relationships
- Utilize effective and professional communication skills
- Submit documentation and signatures on a daily basis
- Other related duties as assigned
- Participate in Monthly Reflective Supervision'
