Encore Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer for our direct client requirement. This is a FT role and is remote.

Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Remote
Position type: Fulltime with a healthcare client
Responsibilities:
- Support life-cycle management, configuration, maintenance of all switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, wireless network, and peripheral network appliances and systems * Interact with cross discipline teams to resolve issues or deliver solutions * Monitor and respond to all assigned network-related incidents, service requests and/or project tasks * Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation will fellow team members * Monitor system logs for anomalies and resolving complex issues utilizing appropriate documentation when needed * Work on assigned internal department projects as well as business projects * Submit change requests and creating implementation plans for production implementations
* 100% remote but may be required to be onsite to resolve issues while on-call, therefore the candidate needs to be within a 60-minute drive to Cincinnati
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in network engineering * Technical certification such as Cisco CCNA is preferred * Working knowledge of: * Network Performance Monitoring tools such as Riverbend and Wireshark * ITSM tools and support * Project management * Advanced knowledge of: oCisco Networking Equipment o Network Access Controls oNetwork Routing Protocols oNetworking Traffic Shaping o VPN oCheckpoint Firewalls oF5 Load Balancers o DNS oHyper-converged networking environments o Networking-related disaster recovery and business continuity

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
