Kai-USA, manufacturer of Shun, Kai Housewares, Kershaw Knives and Zero Tolerance Knives in Tualatin, is looking for a National Account Manager (Houeswares / Kitchen KNnves).
Essential Responsibilities & Duties Summary:
The National Account Manager will manage all aspects of the assigned National Accounts and Western Region, including their direct report and to the end users. The National Account Manager will work with inside support staff to oversee growth of their National Accounts and continue to prospect for continuous business growth in their assigned duties.
- Manage all aspects of Sales and Marketing for the assigned National Accounts.
- Develop region, territory and account specific business plans and objectives tied to the strategic direction of the Housewares Division.
- Implement strategic plans to insure growth in the assigned accounts.
- Manage direct report Territory Sales Manager, West, in territory and monitor performance on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate with internal team members, including customer service, accounting, production and shipping departments.
- Provide customer and market input to assist the Housewares team in developing new product strategy and direction.
- Assist in developing pricing strategies using sound business judgment.
- Maintain account knowledge for all existing and new account business in territory.
- Participate as a member of the sales management leadership team.
- Responsible for all forecasting, budgeting and annual sales quotas.
- Travel to assigned account headquarters and associated tradeshows (domestic and international)
Qualifications Requirements:
Prior National Account sales experience is a MUST to be considered. National Account experience includes customers such as: Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table and Amazon.com. A documented and proven track record of success at this high level is required.
The qualified employee will have a minimum of 5 or more years of Sales Experience in the Housewares industry or a closely related industry.
- Ability to build credible relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to find Creative solutions to Dynamic Problems.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Computer literate.
- Looking for a proven self-starter with an outgoing personality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
