Motel Housekeeping Job at Forney Motels/Hotels

We are looking for housekeepers to join our team!
Your day to day:
As a housekeeper, you would be responsible for upholding the company’s cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and common areas located in the motel.
- Change and replace all bed linens and towels.
- Sanitize and clean all restrooms.
- Dust/wipe down all room surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
- Mop and/or vacuum floors.
- Restock all room amenities.
- Assure all rooms are set up to hotel standards.
- Cleans and maintains personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
- Guests assistance whenever possible.
- Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues.
- Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
- Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security.
- Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
What we need from you:
Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred but NOT REQUIRED. Ability to efficiently work under time constraints. Superior customer service skills. Able to work a flexible schedule. Housekeeping hours are dependent on the numbers of dirty rooms that need to be clean. There are no consistent hours as some days there may be more dirty rooms then other days to clean. We expect housekeeping staff to be available between 9 am - 4 pm, however this is not the set schedule, as you may start earlier, end earlier, or end later depending on the number of dirty rooms to clean that day.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
